What inspires you to do what you do?
A paycheck :-) In all honesty, I just enjoy other cultures and learning about them. Being able to see the world is an amazing opportunity and to have it be my job is wonderful.
What are your favorite things to do when you’re off the clock?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My boyfriend and I love to try new restaurants and wines and beers. I also enjoy going to the theater, water sports, and nearly all kinds of outdoor activities. I used to do triathlons before I was so busy and I am looking forward to getting back into the training and working out for those.
What is your favorite part of working at MG?
The trust and autonomy I have gained over the years. It means a lot not to be micromanaged and have people respect my work enough to just let me do it to the best of my ability. I also really like the fun vibe the company has.
What’s your favorite place in the world?
Home. As much as I love to see the world and loved living in Germany, as Dorothy said, "There's no place like home." In case anyone is wondering - currently (and hopefully forever) that is downtown Chicago.
